- Attorney In The State Of Tennessee In The U.S
Mr. Mark Kim is a licensed attorney in the State of Tennessee in the United States of America and a member of the American Bar Association (ABA). He possesses a wealth of professional experience and knowledge in contracts, complex litigation, international litigation, international transaction, finance, investment, and real property development projects. Presently, he is working in the litigation department at Kim & Bae, P.C., a commercial litigation law firm located in New York and New Jersey, U.S., working on commercial and complex litigation cases which include class action and antitrust action.
Prior to working at Kim & Bae, he worked at Changjo, a commercial law firm based in Seoul, Korea, where he worked on cases in contracts, corporations, international transactions, investment, finance, and real property development projects. Mr. Mark Kim is an expert in both Korean laws and US laws. By representing many corporation clients in various industry areas in Korea and US, he has displayed his ability and capability to resolve local and international legal matters. He can correctly and completely understand clients’ legal problems in bilingual (Korean and English) communication ability, which has exposed him to understand clients’ cultural differences and hence delivering satisfactory results to the clients.
Not only litigation and transactions, he has also worked on immigration cases in the law offices, located in Bundang, Gyonggi, Korea, and Georgia, US. In addition, He has had training and extensive experience in due diligence, corporate governance, and compliance at Mergers & Acquisitions, due diligence, corporate governance, and compliance at Mah-Kamariyah & Philip Koh, Malaysia. Primah Kwagala is a Ugandan Lawyer. She holds a bachelor’s of law from the University of Makerere in Kampala, Uganda, with a distinction in Law, Ethics, and Human Rights. Primah has had extensive expertise in International Law, Trade law, Intellectual Property Law, and the Public Interest, open access initiatives such as creative commons licensing, human rights law, building communities, advocacy, research, and documentation. Her expertise is applauded in areas of activism for access to medicines in Uganda, she has led a team of lawyers to build an active community of Creative Commons (CC) affiliates in Uganda, coordinating the drafting of CC Licenses based on Uganda’s law of copyright.
She has also led and put in charge of research teams that participated in research initiatives on Laws such as the Industrial Property law in Uganda, the EAC AND Uganda’s law on Anti-counterfeiting, Negotiations for a WTO TRIPS Extension for LDCs, open data and copyright access initiatives in Uganda and the East African Region. In 2012, Primah was nominated from a pool of human rights activists across the world to be Columbia University Human Rights Advocate for 2012. She is a Ugandan Lawyer, with qualifications in both Law and Ethics and Human Rights from the University of Makerere in Kampala, Uganda.
